WEEK 10: Analyze product operations & Full writing of Chapter 1 (Introduction) & Full writing of Chapter 2 (Literature Review)

PROJECT ACTIVITIES:

Analyze product operations:

Product operations (or product ops) is a discipline that focuses on optimizing the product development process. This includes tasks such as:

  • Defining and measuring product metrics: Product ops help to define the metrics that will be used to measure the success of a product. These metrics can be used to track the performance of the product over time and to identify areas for improvement.
  • Managing product data: Product ops helps to collect, store, and analyze product data. This data can be used to understand customer behavior, identify trends, and make informed decisions about the product.
  • Automating product processes: Product ops help to automate product processes. This can free up product managers and engineers to focus on more strategic tasks.
  • Ensuring product quality: Product ops help to ensure the quality of the product. This includes tasks such as testing, debugging, and releasing new features.

Full writing of Chapter 1 (Introduction):

This chapter will explain about the project description, problem statement, and objective, scope of project, work scope and description of the methodology.

  • Project description: This section will provide an overview of the project, including its purpose, goals, and scope. It will also describe the project's context and how it fits into the larger organizational or industry landscape.

  • Scope of the project: This section will define the boundaries of the project. It will identify the specific tasks and deliverables that will be included in the project.
  • Work scope: This section will provide a more detailed description of the work that will be performed as part of the project. It will identify the specific tasks, resources, and activities that will be required.
  • Description of the methodology: This section will describe the approach that will be used to solve the problem and achieve the project objectives. It will identify the specific methods, tools, and techniques that will be used.

Chapter 2 (Literature Review):

Chapter Summary:

In summary, the research papers by M.A. Ngasri and I.S. Isa (2019) and SH Zaleha (2021) both address the crucial issue of microsleep detection and accident prevention in the context of vehicle safety. Ngasri and Isa propose an automated stand-alone video-based system that utilizes the Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR) technique to detect micro sleep patterns and provide timely notifications to drivers. On the other hand, Zaleha focuses on integrating image processing and artificial intelligence in SMART vehicles to detect and mitigate the risks associated with driver micro sleep. Both papers contribute valuable insights and innovative solutions to enhance road safety and prevent accidents caused by driver drowsiness.
