Estimation of cost for the project:

The estimated cost was calculated by analyzing prices from a few different shops and platforms. The estimated cost is subject to change, as the actual costs may vary depending on the specific items that are purchased and the amount of time that is spent on the project. However, the estimated cost should provide a good starting point for budgeting purposes.

Weekly Summary/findings/obstacles:

This week, Mdm Azliza Mohd Arshad briefed on preparing for the slide presentation for student FYP1 but also reminded student FYP2 of the correct sequence of the slide presentation. We also discussed valuable tips and tricks to enhance your presentation skills.

Today's workshop covered the following topics:

• Preparation of slide presentation and documentation:

A well-structured and visually appealing slide presentation is essential for a successful proposal defense. The presentation should be organized using clear headings, bullet points, and relevant visuals. The slides should be concise and focused, and they should convey key information effectively. Supporting evidence, such as data, graphs, or images, should be incorporated to strengthen the presentation. Supplementary documentation, such as a handout or digital copy of the presentation, should also be prepared to provide additional details and references for the audience.

• Tips and tricks of presentation:

In addition to creating a well-structured and visually appealing slide presentation, there are several other factors that can help to ensure a successful proposal defense. These include practicing your presentation multiple times to improve confidence and fluency, paying attention to body language, posture, and eye contact to engage the audience, using appropriate vocal modulation, intonation, and pace to maintain audience interest, utilizing visual aids effectively to support your key points without overwhelming the audience, and handling questions and feedback with professionalism and openness, demonstrating your knowledge and understanding.
