  • Understanding the standard format for drafting a thesis and proposal

I explored various resources to gain a comprehensive understanding of the standard format for drafting a thesis and proposal. I studied the guidelines provided by my institution and reviewed sample theses and proposals to familiarize myself with the expected structure. This included learning about the key components of a thesis introduction, literature review, and methodology chapter.

  •  Working on Chapter 1: Introduction

I started working on Chapter 1, which is the Introduction. I identified the key components that should be included in the introduction, such as the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, and significance of the research. I also conducted extensive research to gather relevant literature and studies to support the background information and provide a strong rationale for my research.

  • Outlining Chapter 2: Literature Review

I began outlining Chapter 2, which is the Literature Review. I created a list of keywords and search terms related to my research topic to facilitate effective literature search. I then conducted a comprehensive review of existing literature and critically analyzed scholarly articles, books, and other relevant sources to identify gaps, trends, and theoretical frameworks.

  • Drafting Chapter 3: Methodology

I started drafting Chapter 3, which is the Methodology. I explored various research methods and data collection techniques applicable to my study. I developed a clear and concise research plan, including the research design, population/sample, data collection methods, and data analysis techniques.
